Hello

I'm a 6 ft 233 male whose doctor told him that his cholesterol is through the roof and has a year to shed 50-60 lbs. Started out at about 250 and now I have lost about 17 lbs. Looking for the best way to do so via stationary bike. Any advice helps in my opinion.
 
Hi and welcome to the forums. WTG on the weight loss so far.

I would suggest adding some weights to your exercise regime. While cardio is great, there will be a point that you will start losing some muscle mass (from what I have read in some articles) so the best thing is to also do some strength training.

Dont have a gym? Heck there are many things you can do it at home even if you do not have weights. Read around on the boards - I have found lots of useful information and some very nice folks here.
