losing 28 pounds for a 20 year old should be a walk in the park! Congratulations on taking action and joining this forum!

skip the focus on pounds lost per week. Just realize that if you do things right you should be able to lose all 28 pounds in 10-12 weeks tops! focus on your goal of health and a lean fit body...don't become obsessed with feed back from the scale. I see too many people on an emotional roller coaster based upon what the scale says each day.
