Hey Everyone,
This is my first post and the beginning of my journey to lose weight. I've been reading the forum for a couple of days now, and committed to start everything on the first day of lent, while giving up soda.
As of this moment I'm 6'5'' and 330lb with 30.5% body fat. This makes my BMI 38.1 and according to the BMI indexes, I need to get down to 220 pounds even for the large frame that I have. I've decided this is ridiculous seeing as how that would mean losing more than 100% of my body fat.
I'm not sure what a reasonable goal for weight should be, so I'm going to start with the goal losing 30 pounds to get me under 300lbs in about 10 to 12 weeks. Once I reach this point I'll re-evaluate. If anyone has any idea what a good weight goal might be, I'd love some input.
My Goal is to eat Healthier, around 2500 cal/day. Do Cardio 5 to 6 days a week. and weight train 3 days a week.
I'm hoping that being a part of this forum will help me keep my goal.
