Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site and I really need some help. I really want to loose weight but I don't know where to start. Maybe someone to point me in the right direction about finding the right diet and exercise program. (Keep in mind I'm a college student so expensive solutions won't be an option for me...lol) I have always been heavier, but now I'm at my heaviest point and I'm too young to get tired so easily. It wasn't always like this.
Like I said, in High School I was heavier too but not at an uncomfortable weight. At about 5'7 190 lbs I felt happy. I wore a size 12, I played three varsity sports and even though I wasn't very thin, I was healthy. I want to get back to that weight. I thought it was perfect. I had muscle but still feminine.
Since then, I have gained a little more then 100 lbs. I am about 300-310 and I just don't feel comfortable. Most don't think I'm that weight but I am. Most exercises are to advanced for me to do right now and I would love to work out in the privacy of my own home because to be honest its a little embarrassing to do it in a group now.
I have start going out less and just want to be at home lately. Just a year ago when I was maybe 20 lbs lighter I went out and its still not that big of a difference weight. I don't know whats wrong with me.
One more thing, I don't know if it helps but most of the women in my family are heavy. On my both my parents' sides of the family. It has been a generational struggle.
Sorry for the long intro, but the help would be greatly appreciated.
