hello everyone need some advice please

:waving: hi all,

well heres my mini stroy

im having real truble with my weight if i eat a normal diet
ie: fruit for breakfast small amount
a sensable lunch fish with potatos and loads of veg
then a small snack sandwhich or a sald for a light dinner

i dont drink alchol i dont eat any junk food at all i have one cuppa tea in the morning which contains one suger and my milk is skimmed

but if i eat as much as the above i put on nearly a pound a day and im not kidding u

to keep my weight stable or to even lose a pound i have to eat 800 cal a day

or less even some days i dont eat at all im starting to obbsess over food and the amount im eating its driving me nuts
my body seems to be slow my speach and im always realy sleepy although i get more than enough sleep

now to my workouts

i work out 2 to 3 hours a day 5 or 6 days a week i start at 8 oclock and somtimes finish at 12

i do have kids so do have to stop and see to them sometimes

my workouts
warm up 5 to 10 mins
then streachs

fall on cardio for an hour an half
then weights
for half an hour
then i work on my middle
which include sit ups leg raise even side leg raise plus much more
then warm down

but its doing nothing at all no weightloss i feel crap and i look like crap too

if i stop or slow down my work outs i put on weight fast

im on the slimfast plan which has made me put on weight so now im just have the shakes 3times a day and thats it and that makes my weight stay the same even with my workout

some one help me out please as im realy stuck and dont know whot to do

i just need to get rid of a stone is all and get my eating normal without ganing weight

im 10st4 and 5 foot 8 i wont to be back to my normal size of 9st 4
 
Wow. I'm not a doctor or any medical expert... but I can't help but wonder if you should go talk to one about your metabolism if you have that much trouble with putting on weight if you eat normally, and can't take it off.

If my calculations are correct, you are 5' 8" and weigh 140 lbs? That's well within the healthy range. 126 lbs is still within the healthy range, just getting to the low end of it.

I'm not a big fan of Slim Fast or 'shake' diets... but thats just my opinion. In the long run you may be better off working on your caloric intake with normal food.

Just out of curiosity, have you kept track of your daily caloric intake without the Slim Fast? You should be able to lose at an average of 1200 calories a day, but it is also based on your basal metabolic rate. That's the rate of calories your body would burn throughout the day if you were just laying in bed doing nothing... keeping the basic functions going. I'm wondering with what sounds like a very high rate of exercise maybe you're not taking in enough?

Take a look through the stickies in each of the different sections too, you may find some very helpful info in there.

thank you yes i think i mite go to my doctors but im not over weight im realy tall and weigh 10.stone 3 im 5ft 8in tall
i can weigh 10.stone 6 and still be in my rage of not over weight so think the doctors will tell me off but i used to do modling and i used to be 9stone 3 i looked quite good

but i took some meny diet pills and eat nothing i was becoming super thine and thats not good so i stoped
but it has messed my body up big time
i have always counted cals
even without the slimfast

i think the doctors should know as mybe they can help
even if i workout loads and eat more i will still put on weight its driving me bonkers :banghead:
