-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)? food portioning and exercise.

-- How realistic is your goal? Absolutely realistic! 145 will put me in middle of the normal range for my BMI.

-- When will you start? yeasterday!

I'm an 18 year old girl and I've been overweight... well... forever. My family never lead an active lifestyle and it's really hard for me to get into one. I believe this weightloss is going to be a life-changing event, and I'm very excited about it.
I know I'm an attractive person and the only thing that keeps me from dating people that I also find attractive is my weight.
I am a college student and I work part time. My schedule changes from week to week so I know I wont be able to have a regular work-out plan. So instead I'm going to fit in what I can. Overall, just keep burning more calories than I take in.
 
I am a little worried about how quickly I'm losing weight. Will this slow down? I know it's not healthy to lose weight this fast. What are the reprocussions of losing it this fast?

Hey Heidii, I'm really curious as to what you are doing to be losing weight so quickly, I'd love to lose weight that fast. I'm 22 and I'm close to the same weight as you- 172. Let me know what your doing! Good luck!!
 
Many people lose weight really fast at the beginning, but then begin to level out to a steady 1-2 pounds a week. Just make sure you are getting enough calories from healthy foods and not overdoing the exercise. Congratulations on the fast start!

People lose weight differently.... Mine started off slow and picked up speed.... My dh(SaturdaySaint) started fast then leveled out, but I have since passed him :D:D

Whichever it is...if you're eating enough and exercise what's right for you....your body will lose it as it sees fit! :) Keep plugging away!
