MY STORY

I have been overweight my whole entire life. As a kid it was not to bad, I started to gain mre weight when I got to high school. I pretty much lived on fast food and junk food. When I turned 16, I got a job at a Burger King which did not help at all, as my weight kept climbing up there. When I got out of high school I got married and started working receiving at a local Wallmart. My job was pretty intense and physical as I was unloading truck by hand all day. I started to lose a lot of weight fast and even got down to nearly 210 lbs at one time. Eventually I quit that job for a better paying one that had me driving all the time. I was eating fast food like 5 time a day and was putting on some weight. I ended up getting a divorce and spiraling into a deep depression where I did not care anymore. I drank soda all day long, I ate fast food (supersized) meals 5+ time a day and I really starting get fat. At my fattest I was 410lbs. Later I ended up getting fired from that job when I got into a fight with my manager. and took a year off and pretty much partied alot. I got another job that was a physical job and lost 50lbs throughout the year I worked there but my eating habits really did not change to much. When I quit that job I out right quit eating fast food (hardest thing in my life). I moved to a different town and started partying and drinking a lot and started putting the weight back on and was back up to 400lbs. From there on out I completely overhauled my lifestyles. I quit drinking as much. I maybe got drunk once a month, started to be more active and even go to the gym. That with trying to eat right and a little help from clen cycles I am currently down to 298. I am working real hard to drop the fat. My goal is to be down to the 240-250 range before March 2009 and then I will continue and set another goal.
 
Tuesday October 21st, 2008

Good day today! I slept in today and got up at 1:00pm. Ate a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast and had a couple sliced of whole wheat toast. I then jumped onto the treadmill for about 30minutes. Went to work for a little bit and the came home and ate some chicken and toast. I really did not eat much today, but I am not very hungry for some reason. I am probablly just going to make a protein shake and hit the gym. My arms are still from last night at the gym I think I will just work on my legs and then do my cardio. I still got a bunch of homework to do. People say Community College is a joke, I beg to differ. I have a lot work to keep up on. Luckly its all online classes and I love my nutrition class. I am pulling off an A in it so far.
 
great work with the loss so far and well done cutting out the fast food and reducing the booze.
 
Tuesday October 21st, 2008 Continued...

Well technically it the 22nd but I have not gone to bed yet since I am a late night person. I just got back from the gym, worked on my legs, which are defiantly my favorite to work out. I did some cardio already today but I did some more tonight on the elliptical machine. I weighed in today at 293 lbs. whoohoo! I have been working extra hard this week. oh well.
 
Yayy! I'm big on going to the gym really late to- NOT good for sleeping issues, but I feel like I get more done that way :) Good luck on your journey/loss- you seem to be doing pretty good so far!
 
Ellipticals are my favorite. Makes me miss the gym, now that I no longer have a membership! I may rejoin just for that, n the weights.

Late nites/late mornings I find throw off my losing weight habits. I'm glad it works for you tho!

Keep up the good work, losing 100 or so pounds so far is very admirable!!
 
I like going to the gym late at night, its less crowed so I don't have to wait for the machines. I try to only wait 30sec. between sets and a 1 minute between different machines and its hard to do when someone is taking there time on a machine.
 
I like mornings at the gym for the same reason, During ladies hour there is not much competition for the free weights :)
 
Monday October 27, 2008

Just got back from the gym and boy do my arm feel like jello. I really worked them tonight and there sore. Finished off by doing cardio. Plus earlier today I did cardio so all in all it was a good day. Kept my meals clean and calories low.

Halloween is coming up. But, no parties for me since I work security at a campus bar, and Halloween night there are the most fights of the year for some reason so all of security is working. Oh well it will be fun to see peoples costumes. College kids can be quite creative.
 
Campus bar security, thats awesome! I mean, it does KINDA suck that you hafta deal with the drunk schmucks, but hey- free entertainment, and if your lucky and get to strong arm a few people, a free workout :D

I haven't been around the forums in a while. I had been doing great on my diet and weightloss, Well that was until the Holidays. I spent the Holidays visiting my parents and fell back into old habits and starting putting on lbs and eating like crap. I am back at home now and going to the gym tommarrow. I am have not been to the gym in a couple months becuase I was out of town most of the time and other stupid excuses. I am going to weigh myself tommarrow and I know I am not going to be happy. I just got to try harder this time.

Today was a long and hectic day. Anyways I when to gym, I was a bit nervous getting on the scale but was very my suprised that I only weight 302, I figured I would have gain more over the holidays. Well, I am off to bed now!
