Happy_Squid's Diary

Discovery

Today I came up with such a brilliant idea- actually someone else in the office took care of most of the thinking for me. I had half a donut! You all remember the stabbing incident on my first day? The brutality could have been avoided by nicely slicing and sharing the donut. Yumm it was so good, and half the calories.
Things are going good. I enjoy being broke because I can't order take-out!

I keep all my ex's on the Christmas card list unless they were especially stupid! Always try to mention something great that's gonna make them wince, but there's nothing like a photo of you looking hot! (Especially if they have a new woman that's not so cute;)
haha we women weave an evil web!

Remind me never to cross any of you guys! :D

I fell off the wagon!!!

I don't even remember the last time I logged in here... soo much has changed I'm sure! Moved to the Caribbean for med school and have been swamped with work. I joined the triathlon club and managed to complete an Olympic Distance Tri in March, was down to 138 lbs. Now, in my usual style, have taken 6 months off, went up to 165 lbs, and went to the gym all of five times during summer semester.
But... fall brings a new semester, a new gym membership, and a new motivation to lose the weight!
So, just have to readjust my ticker and we are back in business. Must also delete the Chinese takeout number from my cell!

Things are still going good, have ignored beer for over a week and Chinese food for over a month. My roomie has joined the gym as well, so have no shortage of workout partners. Haven't weighed in lately, but am pretty sure I've at least kept the three pounds off... I hope!

Hi there...

welcome back to the forum. :) I just joined in June and today was roaming diaries to see if I could steal a few tips. haha Anyways... good luck to reaching your goal weight. I, too, love Chinese food. Thank goodness I'm part Chinese and I'm capable of cooking my own. haha (It's much cheaper and healthier..) Sooooo.. if you ever need recipes, let me know. haha Once again.. good luck!

Hey- well if you're looking for specific tips, PM me, because despite the fact that I'm needing to get back on track, I am a certified trainer as well as a medical student.

Have been going to the gym regularly, and have had two friends join with me at the same time, so things are going good! My roommate and I have made an official commitment to healthy eating too. Happy to say I am down 6 pounds this month!!!
