Hanging in there.

I started on Boxing Day at 238.5lbs. the heaviest I'd weigheed in years. My all time high was about 245lbs. I'm 48 and I swore of all booze and junk food and headed back to the gym.

43 days in and I'm down 17lbs. I weighed 221.5lbs this morning. By March 31, I would like to be around 200-205lbs. My ultimate goal is 188.5lbs or down 50lbs. I'm 6'1" tall and think I'll look and feel pretty good by then. I'm dropping about 1380 calories per day so at that rate I should hit 200lbs exactly by March 31.

I lift weights for an hour or so Mon, Wed, Fri with a little light cardio (15 min on the treadmill as a warm-up) Tues, Thurs and Sat I run for 40 -60 minutes. Today I ran 5 miles in 55 minutes. Had a huge cramp at the 35 min mark and walked it off and started running again. Hope i can hang in for 53 more days.
