14 July (day 1)
This is my first day - 128 kgs.
I want to get to 110kg by end August.
It's been a productive day and writing notes certainly help me focus.

15 July (day 2)
The day has been uneventful but successful in maintaining my diet although as we moving into the late night (and early morning on day 3), I have awaken after 3 hours of sleep to find that the night demons are playing havoc on my mind.

My natural response is to race to the refrigerator and satisfy the demons of my mind with food, mindful that ten minutes later I will be disappointed and angy with myself for having done so. The benefit of this diary allows me to identify the problem, share it with anyone that might be watching and then park the demons for another time. Late night demons need to be parked and removed from my life. Once this is achieved the weight will fall from my body. Once this is achieved, my body mass will not be a victim of my mind.

18 July (day 5)
Down 3 kg.
Day 3 was troublesome. Got up late night and couldn't help myself but rather than getting depressed, I simply put it behind me.
Day 4 was great and the temptation of late night demons never appeared. The demons stay away when I keep away from carbohydrates....interesting observation. Maybe its the make up of my body.
Tonight will be very difficult, eating with my inlaws - everything is fatty.
