I was curious, I'm about 5'8 and roughly 155-160lbs. and have been tossing around the options of either lots of cardio and a good diet, or more calories and lots of weight training with less cardio, for building mass. Well, I've decided that with my build and right now with my motivation and dedication levels (I'm waiting on a friend of mine to be able to get back into lifting), more cardio would be my best bet.
So my question is this, if I were to do a lot of good cardio workout and get on a really good diet and also, mix in lots of pushups and maybe some curls, etc., nothing extreme, would that eventually give me a slim lean look? Or am I looking at more of a "skinny" look, if I go that route? My main goal right now isn't really for a "muscly" look, but more, since I'm a small built guy, to be thin with muscle tone throughout my arms, shoulders and chest. Mainly with just a "tone cut" look to them. Would this work?
