Hey, my goal is to lose about 4-6 inches off of my waist by the middle of next September. I'm going to be eating 6 healthy meals a day, doing 30+ minutes of cardio a day on an elliptical, and lifting every other day on a pseudo-bowflex machine. I'll also be walking around town a lot with my friends and going swimming as often as possible. Wish me luck.
Also, I had a few questions that I figured I may as well ask. I'm 13.5 years old, and about 5'5 tall. However, my ribcage is almost 35 inches around(This is not including any fat.) My ribcage is a lot larger than my waist - I'm talking by like almost 5-10 inches(Don't have a tape measurer on me). When I lose the weight I'm aiming to, will my torso look a little odd? And is that normal?
Additionally, if I have a growth spurt this summer, what will that do to my body? I'm assuming that my body fat would stay the same as I got taller, so it would basically stretching it out vertically.
(Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, it seemed like the best place =p)
