Well.. I feel like crap! I won't make no excuses because there aren't any so.. I won't let it happen again (but that is the same thing I said last time)! I just feel like I'm running in circles. I took my picture today and I feel like just giving up honestly. I actually look fatter than before. I just feel like a failure even though I work so hard..

02/25/08...244 ...getting discouraged...I weighed 244 just 2 days after my 246 weigh-in, but nothing changed since then. exercise is 8 - 10 times a week...1700 - 2000 cals in a day with the exception of maybe 1 day in a week when I may have more cals. Measurements are BARELY budging either. Time to make a change in the cals...despite all the exercise, I think I am going to have to lower them. Currently burning approx 250 - 350 cals per exercise segment. Anyway...got depressed after measuring this week and blew it on the cals for the last couple days. Time to get kickin' again or else next week's weigh-in will be even more depressing. I didn't get back on the scale today, but I am probably back to 246 just from the rubbish I ate yesterday and today. Seriously, I expected for the weight to come off FAR more quickly with all this exercise I am doing. Kinda bums me out big time.

Dont worry it will happen people are going to scream but maybe you should back down the excercise (alittle bit, dont completely stop just reduce it ) and then start again it some times jump starts my weight loss good luck you CAN do it I was at 220+ in the begining of december and it has been a long road but there is a light at the end of the tunnel just keep chuggin along

Don't stop. You can do this! If you look through this thread, you'll see that its an uphill and downhill road for all of us. It not going to be easy. Re-evalate what you are doing and see if you can adjust things accordingly. Take a really hard look at yourself. There is probably something in your plan that can be tweaked. Its easy for someone else to tell you not to get discouraged. It up to you to look at that goal and say that you are NOT going to let it slip out of your fingers. I'm in a rough spot now and am not feeling very good either. I feel a bit stuck right now to but I ain't quitting now. I need to do this. I am trying things right now that I thought I'd never do (such as running). We'll see how it goes, but I can taste my goal already. I dream it, and I live it. As far as my mind is concerned I AM 140lbs. Now my body just has to catch up. I will try anything to keep this dream going. Push through this low spot, you'll make it!!!!

lusciouslemon thanks for the support and thanks for replying at all. I won't give up don't worry! But yesterday was really a weird day and the photo of myself just made it all worse. I don't really have someone to talk about these things. I mean my friends and family know I'm on a diet and I go to the gym a lot but no one really cares or asks about it. I would love to have someone I can talk about weight loss stuff. I'm so glad I found this forum. It rocks.

Katikaaa and Bep, don't give up! I know it's really hard to see that weight come off, come back on, come off and so on so forth. It's just how this crazy weight loss game works. We're going to have awesome weeks, and then we're going to have some bad ones. It's a give and take, but during the bad weeks you can't give up! I've gone up and down so much these past months, but I know I can do this. We just have to lean on each other for support, exercise, and try to eat healthier. One step at a time. You're going to see that taking it off slowly and surely is the best way to stay healthy forever!
