Yes, it's a rampage. Let's face it. Everything Godzilla does is a rampage.
Yeah, so here we go. Weighed in at 262.2 lbs this morning. I'd do so much better in a zero-gravity environment. I had a reasonable yogurt/strawberries/banana lumpy (not a smoothie, I don't use my blender much) for breakfast, and then had a bowl of "Mesa Sunrise" cereal with soy milk to load some carbs for bike riding. I rode about 25 clicks including one long, wicked, lung-searing hill.
Hoping to parlay the will - and pressure - of the group into lasting results.
I have the typical motivators; looks, abilities, health, etc. But there is one thing that's come up, and perhaps some of you have noticed. Overweight people lack credibility. I'm a manager at my work, and the perception that people have is that overweight people are undisciplined, lazy, even incompetent. Once people have anything to do with me, they see that those things aren't true, but I'm tired of having to overcome the stereotype.
Also, I'll admit to some vanity. I've been showing up in a lot of photos (there's been a real PR push at my work) and honestly, I'm not liking what I'm seeing.
So I'm charting a new course. In the words of Father Henri Martin Didon, "Citius, Altius, Fortius!" (faster, higher, stronger).
