Go Me!!

Amazing!

Most of my weight gain has come from the fact that I do not excercise enough and that I work all day, then have a reguar gig that I play bass for 4-5 night per week. This puts me home around 8:30 - 9:00PM. When I get home I think I have to eat. Then I go to bed around 10ish. Funny thing is I never have been hungry in the morning and usually skipped breakfast. Lately I have been getting more excercise (until I came down with this flu stuff) and have stopped eating at night altogether. This morning I noticed that when I woke up at 5:30, I was HUNGRY! I ate some wheat toast and I feel much more energetic already than I usually do (despite the flu). I have been doing this routine for about a week now, but have just this morning noticed the morning hunger that I never had before. Do you guys think this may be my metabolism trying to get back on track or am I just nuts?

Just my humble opinion, but I have read that eating a good breakfast will help you be less hungry the rest of the day, and that if you skip it, you'll eat more later.

So I'd say you're doing good, and getting your metabolism back on track.

I've heard what both you guys said before. That's what kind of makes me think I may be doing some good already. Encouragement comes from small things sometimes...right?

Totally understand where you're coming from, dude. I used to NEVER eat breakfast, and so I'd never be hungry when I got up in the mornings. Now that I work out all the time, I wake up and apparently I've been runnin' in my sleep or something, because I am *hungry*!

I think it's a kicked-up metabolism, for sure. :D

I SO wish I could work out! I've had this lousy flu for the past 1 1/2 weeks and it just zaps my energy and my breath! It seems to have settled in my chest. I have a hard time doing 20 push ups now! On top of that, my left knee has decided to start acting like a fool! If I'm on it more than about 10 minutes, it starts hurting badly! I'm still eating right, just cannot get the excercise that I want to get! Seems like all this started when I decided to make this lifestyle change! I'm not giving up, though! May be time to get to the Doctor!

Two weeks in and I'm noticing my clothes fitting looser. Unsure of pounds lost as I'm not doing the weight thing. I'll know when I'm done! Yea me!!:Angel_anim:

Awesome job! :D

I can relate. I actually fit into a pair of jeans I haven't been able to fit into in a month or so today.

great job! im glad your not worrying about weight, and that your sticking to it! keep on keeping on!!!!

As tempting as it is, the scale AT TIMES does throw you off course. Keep up the great work and love those changes!

Checking in....

Hey everyone. Haven't been on the forum of late as I have been busier than a one-armed barber with an itch.
Still doing great. Eating right, drinking TONS of water, and gettin' some excercise since my knee has been healed. Just didn't want you guys thinking you could get rid of me that easily...:willy_nilly:
