Getting started...

Oh, where to begin? I've been a champion yo-yo dieter for the majority of my life. Pretty much if there's a diet, I've tried it, probably had success, then got bored and quit it. When I married the love of my life 2 years ago, I had just hit a 'comfy' weight of 160lbs and felt awesome about myself. Since then, life took over, combined with laziness and having a baby 5 weeks ago, and I'm now 70lbs heavier. To be honest, I'm miserable with myself. My hunny is a gym rat and takes wonderful care of himself when it comes to exercise. The only issue I think we'll have is he has no problems with his diet of doritos and fast food and I'll definitely have to stop that. I just really want to maintain focus and not give up. I know it's not easy. I've done this over and over again throughout the years, but I'm hoping for all I'm worth that this will finally be the time I keep it off. I want my babies to have a healthy lifestyle from the beginning so maybe they won't have to go through weight problems later. Glad to be here. Looking forward to sharing results with you all :)

My plan for the time being is calorie counting and exercising through walking and using my wiifit :) With a newborn, I have to find things I can do even if I may be interupted. I'll work up some bravery for weighing myself and taking pics tomorrow morning.
