getting my but into shape

i was recently on crutches, so i was constantly using my right leg and working the muscles in that leg, while my left leg was just losing muscle. and now because of this my right side of my but and leg is way more toned than the left side. any suggestions on how to make myself "even" again is greatly appreciated.
 
exercise unilaterally, so the left side is forced to handle all the weight...your right side won't be able to pick up the slack.

i'm assuming the left leg has a clean bill of health now? broken bone, or did you have surgery? we need a doctor's OK to use weights to rebuild it.
 
excellent. so yes, workout unilaterally when possible...one leg at a time, on stuff like leg extensions, leg curls, calf raises. lunges would be good too, as are squats (which can be done one leg, but I don't think its that necessary).

and keep the weight the same for both legs until the weak side catches up in strength and appearance.
 
One legged leg press. Do 2 sets of 10 with your right leg and 3 sets with your left. I recently integrated these into my workouts and they kill my glutes and quads.
