Getting lean in 2015

Thanks Tete! Every little bit counts.

I soooo didn't feel like working out tonight. I did it and I am glad I did. It wasn't as awesome as I had hoped but I guess they can't all be amazing.
I start teaching my land fitness class tomorrow. It will be fun. We are doing a tabata style interval class with an extended stretching section at the end. That will be my cross training for the next 10 weeks.

Had my first training clinic tonight. We got a new record for 5km in 2015 - 38 minutes! Whoo-hoo! So excited about that. :) This clinic seems like it will be better than the last one I took. We got a binder and have some really good notes for the upcoming presentations. The presentations are made by professionals and sound very cool. I am excited to work on my running technique. Hoping to do the full marathon in May in less than 6 hours. Yay!

Ugh, running. Haha. I am NOT a fan of running! Good for you though! I'm sure having those organized runs planned is great motivation to keep on schedule.

Training has officially begun, woop woop! Feel free to bombard us with the details of your training, I'd love to hear more about it as you go along.

What Oaks said! I for sure will be requiring training details. I might lose my mind and decide to train for one of these one day.

Congratulations on your 5K PR!

Tabatas and stretching sounds like a great compliment to the run training. Go Wanna!

Wow that's a lot of running! I admire you! I am not a runner, in the slightest, but I've downloaded a "couch to 5k" app which gets you running using the walk/run intervals. Still not sure I'll manage :\ So, yeah, massive props to you on all that training and racing!

And by the way cross country skiing sounds AMAZING!!!

LouLou, I started with the C25K program too! I found it a little advanced for me. Lol. Stick with it, repeat weeks if you need too. You can do it!
