Hey Everyone,
I'm a new member and over the past few months have started really focusing on getting fit, eating better. The main goal at the moment is to drop the kg's and then really tone up.
I have about 6kg's to go, so not too far off the goal (just roughly, I don't look at the scale as the main indicator of where I need to be). I have never been really fat, just ...chubby I guess and untoned, with a bit of flab here and there
. I lost 5kg's already, which I'm happy about. I guess the main reason why I joined is to get some good workout tips, a bit of variety as I get bored of doing the same thing over and over.
I like to exercise... but sometimes I get lazy. Food wise, I'm ok, but I do find it hard to cook things that TASTE good and I hate the recipes that cost a FORTUNE to make. So any help there would be good too.
At the moment I have been doing cardio and some resistance, I'm in love with jumping rope right now. Just started about 2 weeks ago. I do 30 seconds high intensity, 30 seconds break for about half an hour each session, I try to do more and more every day.
Anyway I think that's enough for now. I look forward to browsing the forum and interacting with other members here.
