getin back in the game

hey i know i havent been on in a while, but here's the deal. i stoped lifting and stop playin basketball since about a month and a half i needed a break you know what i mean, and it got outta hand i even started drinkin soda. i weighed myself today at 140 witch i never was in my life and everyone's tellin me i'm getin fat so i got to get back in the game i feel much weaker and just out of shape so what should i do how do i go about this please help thanks alot.
 
Man i went through the exact same thing and believe me the hardest thing to do is get started again. Remember you can't burn fat and gain muscle at the same time so if you want to remove some fat you might want to do cardio for a couple months to lose fat so that at the end of your first gaining phase you won't have too much work to do.
