Get rid of fat on lower part of stomach... how?

Waking up after 8 hours... there is nothing inside your body.. its running on empty. When you start some cardio training along with maybe some resistance training your body will dig into it's fat stores because there is not other source of fuel available. YOU WILL BURN MORE FAT.. Point Blank Period

Wouldn't you also lose muscle if you did this on a consistent basis?

Good observation... That was one thing I was worried about also, but I found that doing a proper 10-10-10 interval cardio didn't have any effect on my muscle mass.

The only reason you'd lose muscle is if your body was breaking it down as a source of fuel, but you want your body to trigger FAT as the source of fuel. That's basically what fat is... energy storage (in the most lay-man terms)

So targeting proper heart-rates becomes important.

See the traditional theory is that low intensity high duration cardio is best if you want to burn fat... That's what I learned in my physiology class in College... but honestly, in real-world testing I don't believe it's that effective. Me and my clients have gotten WAY better results doing the 10-10-10. which is why I condone TRYING stuff out.

Also, look at the Olympic Sprinters vs people who run the long distance Ironman competitions... Who's more ripped? The Sprinters!

Go figure... =)

Hey, can anyone out there enlighten me on 10-10-10 interval cardio? Like, what is it?

Muchas gracias!
