Gains with full body works.

Because of my schedule I will not be able to make it to the gym more then twice a week.

But I was curious if I can still expect gains with full body workouts instead of using split routines. I'm new to training in general but I was told you must hit each muscle at least twice a week.

I guess what I'm asking is if this is a bad idea for someone who is looking to increase muslce mass. Thanks

it depends how well you know your body nd how you control yourself. If you over do it then you'll need 4 days rest. but if you work it out then 48-72hours will be perfect.

YES two days a week of full body is good ( three is better) but two, especially since you are a beginner should work, try to keep the intesity high.

As long as you are getting good intensity out of those two workouts, and eating right, you'll make gains.
I've done 3x a week fullbody, and when you first get started its almost over-doing it until the body adapts to getting 'beat down' thrice weekly.

Those one-body-part-aday splits are not for 'newcomers' and even most intermediate trainees won't get that much benefit from them. Most people never need to progress beyond anything more complex than push/pull/legs type splits.
