Gaining lbs without gaining too much fat

Hey,

I been training on and off for about 1 year now.

I used to be 120 lbs, and 5'8.

Now I am 140 lbs and 5'10. My wieght stayed contant til about two months ago, where my wieght was rising at maybe about 5lbs per week. I think its good, because my goal was to gain wieght, but with that wieghy gain I also developped a not so cute little buddha belly :( So I cut back on my carbs and changed my meals plans a bit, Now I am losing pounds :( 5 lbs in two weeks.

I need someone advice as to how to gain wieght without gaining fat ?

Eat to match your workout. if you want to gain weight you will have to eat more, however, you need to work out to gain muscle and not just fat. You will want to hit the weights and do a good amount of cardio. there are hundreds of variations but the basics. eat clean, sleep around 8 hours a night, get in cardio and weight training.
at least three to four days of solid cardio and three to 6 days of solid weight training. always allow at least one full day a week where you allow your body to recover and allow proper time for each muscle group to recover, 48 hours

If you are trying to gain weight, then you are going to have to eat more which means putting on a little fat with the muscle. That's generally why people do bulking phases and cutting phases. It's hard to do both at once.

5 pounds a week is mostly fat. Eat healthy, 5-6 times a day, eat less carbs towards the end of the day.

Well, I wouldn't try and burn it right now, some fat will help while bulking. Just eat more lean foods. If that doesn't work, than add more cardio into your workouts.
