Fully Developed Muscles

I had a trustworthy friend of mine tell me that there is a big difference in the strength in between teenagers and adults. He said that I would notice a huge difference in the strentgh at which my muscles contract once neared the age of 18. He said I was just hitting the tip of the iceberg at this age. I'm 16 by the way and he is 20. I just want some reassurance.

you hit peak strength in mid 20's or so but really it comes down to your training experience i would think as an untrained person wouldn't be half as strong as a trained one
 
A guy whose trained all his life in his 50s will hand you your ass whatever your age if you haven't trained before.

Its subjective. Start now and you can be pretty damned huge by 25 :)
 
You're friend is correct. If you take an untrained male (16) and an untrained male (21) generally the same weight/height the 21 yr old will be stronger on average. Same thing if both were trained.
