from 180lbs to 150lbs .. the beginning.

hello everyone, i´m new here. decided to be brave and post, as i´ve loved reading other peoples stories and you´re all absolutely inspirational. also hoping for some support and advice for myself, too!

i was at my biggest about a year ago, but i have always refused to weigh myself so i never tracked my weight properly. in the new year i decided i´d had enough of being overweight, and that i want to look after my body and my health, too. so i am currently 180lbs, my guess is that i was probably roughly around 195lbs at this time last year. my goal is to get to 150lbs.

i´ve completely changed my diet. before i was eating chocolate, sugary cereals, pizza, a hell of a lot of pasta, white bread, etc. now i´ve changed to porridge, noodles, chicken and fish, salads, etc.. it seems to be working so far, but i would love to track my progress with pictures and just keep shifting the weight, although i seem to have hit a slight wall right now! i am going to keep up the healthy eating and gradually add some exercise, but at the minute i am finding it hard to fit alot in alongside of long working hours.

so here goes.. (excuse the lack of clothes!)

you are doing great and u look good in the pictures you posted ...eating healthy and walking will take you to your goal but u really look good now

thank you so much for the lovely and encouraging replies :) next weigh-in is in two weeks. its this annoying final bit of weight that i´m just struggling to lose, it won´t go anywhere!! thanks again guys and i´ll keep you updated.. x
 
so today i had another weigh-in.. i´m now 178.5lbs... not a huge loss at all, but i guess it´s only been 10 days since my last one, and at least it´s going in the right direction!

i´m pleased though, because now my BMI figure has dropped by 1 number, too.

hope everyone else is doing great!
 
hello again everyone! haven´t posted for a long time due to working my butt off with work and exercise! plus this has been a slow loss, so there was no real point in posting any updates before this point.

so a month on from my first post, but about 2 months on from when i first started to diet, here are my updated pics. oh and i now weigh 171lbs!!

i have started running 3-4 times a week and using a skipping rope a few times a week too. the healthy eating is going well, and i feel good!

i can feel a difference in my clothes fitting, not sure if i can tell the difference in the pics or in the mirror.. what do you think?
