I have been working at it for a little over a week and I have already lost 13lbs! More than that, I feel better all around, I have more energy, some of the depression I had been battling began to slack up, and my blood sugar levels are lower than they have been since I was diagnosed with diabetes- I never took my medicine. I can’t wait to see how my blood pressure and cholesterol levels are doing.
I have always had a problem with consistency but I think this time it will work. I am seeing way to many positive changes in a short period of time. I do not feel deprived; I am not as hungry as I used to be so my portions are automatically smaller. With my new found energy I have been more physically active.
I think it is a good idea for anyone who is having a problem with finding an eating guideline, or people who suffer from diabetes, fatigue and other conditions that are a side effect from being overweight to check out the book. I was surprised to see the truth in how certain foods affected my body and why.
I would like to hear from other people who have been trying this too for a longer time and the experiences they have had.
