daedlifts, power shrugs. sorry about the bad quality on some shots.

for the power shrugs, are you supposed to shrug after the short hip explosion?

if you see anything i can improve on, please tell me:D
 
Personally when i dead lift before i start i tend to get my butt a little lower that u did. Helps me to use my legs and not as much back.

Question on the power shrugs??? Those looked like u where trying to do a High Pull but didnt go all the way up with the bar. Is that what u where trying to do?
 
Looks good. That very first deadlift rep caused you to round a little and cave your chest slightly but other than that good form. Nice work man.

BTW it just wouldnt be right if you werent in your underwear at some stage would it?
 
Toss the power shrugs and replace them with power cleans. Power cleans are awesome! On the deadlift it looked like your snapped your legs straight a little too quick, but other than that it didn't look too bad. I usually do stiff leg deads, it'll hit the hammys a little bit and really get the lower back.

Deadlifts look good. Only thing is it looks like you don't finish off with driving your hips through at the end and your end position has you in a slight forward lean, difficult to say because of the lighting, though.

The power shrugs needs some improvement. First, I'd really call those high pulls, power shrugs are usually very heavy and you won't be able to throw the bar that high.
The stance looks too wide, though it is kind of an individual preferrence thing, it is usually better to go with a narrower stance. Try jumping up and down 3 times, the way your feet land is the width they should have on these types of movements.
You start from the top, then do like in an RDL, push your hips back, slight bend in the knees until you feel the hams stretch, then forcefully jump upwards and on the top of the movement, you shrug. In this vid you shrug too early, you should shrug just after your hips and ankles have extended.

yea i agree karks. i also thought i was shrugging early :/ il practice and try to readjust my stance!!! :D

il be making more videos on more deadlift singles(better quality), romanians, goodmornings, and of course fixed power shrugs.
