Focus of meals

Hey guys,

I hit my weight loss goal of 175 a couple of days ago (from 200 at the beginning of summer) and now my goal is to really lean out, get some muscle, and burn this last bit of fat off.

What should the main focus of all of my meals/snacks be? Protein?

And would this phase still be considered cutting?

fat loss = cutting
muscle building = bulking

and you cannot do both at the same time since they require different diet strategies.

lean protein, unprocessed carbs, mainly fruits and veggies except for pre and post workout, where you can have a few starchy carbs.
 
If you are lookingfor the more shredded look here, take notes from the bodybuilder type diets. You should have a journal already and be able to estimate the amount of carbs you need to sustain muscle mass. Next is lowering your carbs and replacing with good fats. You will have to modify according to your diet and the way your body responds. Knockout a lot of diary as well.

This is advice for getting that temporary shredded look only.
