First time posting... beware bikini pics

Well I have been looking at everyone elses pictures now for a couple months wondering when I will feel even close to showing the world the dreaded "bikini" pictures... BUT its time. I need some new motiviation.

First picture is in late March 08 I weight close to 190 pounds, size 16

Second picture was today late June 08 I weighed in this morning at 158 and Im very excited to say Im HALF my jean size- 8 now.

I am 5'6, and have a beautiful baby girl (ok so shes not a baby anymore- shes 3)

This is where I am at today though. Hopefully in another month Ill post even more progress!
 
congratulations on so much weight loss in such a short period of time? how did u do it. i would like to know b/c i am trying to lose 50lbs. asap. I am currently a size 18. i would like to get down to a size 12. u look great!

How I lost the weight: well first and foremost I had a trainer for 8 weeks. We met three times a week for one hour sessions. I did go to the gym almost every other day on my own too. Mostly I think it was diet change. We use to eat out ALOT my husband has an on call job so whenever we had time together I didint want to "waste" 30 minutes cooking. NOW I use freezer cooking method a lot it saves time and I know its healthy. Lots of chicken, and tons of veggies. Also I do eat 5 small times a day and it does help. Keeps my energy up and I read read read read the labels!!! thats helped me tons!

I stopped drinking sodas completly.

Before i only really committed 80% now I am 100 +10 % committed because in 23 days I am going to florida.
 
You look FAB!!! I have literally the exact body you do in your first picture. No loose skin etc, just a bigger tummy/hips/thighs. How in the world did you make such a transformation in 3 months?

:eek: OMG you look FANTASTIC!!!! I kind of look the way you did in your before shot and it's SO INSPIRATIONAL to see your change. My progress, I know, will be a lot slower, and I have smaller goals for a longer time period, but you've shown me that I can do it!!

I too eat 5 small meals a day. I usually eat a cup of high fiber cereal in the morning with a cup of Silk milk, and some fruit. I am a pretty healthy eater but stopped working out in March due to a lack of results (I had started working out (walking on the treadmill) in January). So in order to see results faster and so that I can maintain my motivation, just yesterday, I ordered a bottle of Anoretix. I only ordered 1 bottle b/c I really did not want to use any pills, but after doing a lot or research and reading many, many reviews, I have decided to give it a try. My plan is to use Anoretix to give my metabolism a boost and to shed at least 20 lbs. After that, I think I can handle the remainder of the weight loss via diet and exercise.

Wait, what? I'm sorry, but I have to be straight up with you, I just can't help it. This is absolutely and plainly RIDICULOUS! I mean are you going to be another one of the millions of idiots who buy into the whole pill over exercise trend? I'm just outraged by your statements! You need to get real! Please don't propagate crap that endorses pill over exercise any longer. If you are not seeing results with exercise, sorry, but either a) you are not a "healthy eater" (which is my personal suspicion.) b) you have a health condition that needs to be addressed with a doctor, not with a pill!

You stopped exercising "due to lack of results." You need to get your nutrition in order and/or you need to learn to exercise (but ANY exercise yields to some type of beneficial result). You probably have no idea what "healthy" really means. Those pills certainly are NOT "healthy." Go see your doctor, maybe you have some medical condition. But in a healthy individual a sound nutrition plan that is hypocaloric combined with exercise works. It is a UNIVERSAL LAW meaning that there are no variants. Granted there aren't health conditions as I said.

You mean to say this pill will melt off TWENTY POUNDS without exercise? And keeping your diet exactly as you have it? And this will keep your motivation up! And AFTER THAT (after losing TWENTY pounds on a pill without modifying your already "healthy" diet) you will start exercising? Plain delusional and ridiculous. Must be that blunt and harsh.

Again, PLEASE STOP THIS WEIGHT LOSS IN A BOTTLE PROPAGANDA, it has done enough harm to society already. STOP!

Also I saw this post of yours and it's the first time I've seen anyone else mention freezer cooking. I was doing that for a short time just to try and get my husband and I off fastfood and it made life SO much easier. I have alot of recipes that I got from the30daygourmet but not all necessarily diet friendly. Also because of my insulin resistance I'm watching the sugar and carbs. Would you mind sharing some of your freezer recipes?

Also I'm trying to stop drinking soda too...unfortunately everytime I try to go cold turkey I can't do it and I had one today at the movies so I think I'll try and wean myself off instead.

Anyway ty again for posting your pics and advice :)
 
In response to redtruth: FYI, I just started on the pill 2 days ago and have already lost 2 lbs. Anyway, I did not say that I was going to only take the pill in order to lose weight. I combine it with exercise and healthy foods. I am not promoting taking diet pills b/c if you are an adult, you should have a brain and enough reasoning ability to make your own decisions!
