Hey shredded,
It's great that you've really turned your life around and trained you ass off to achieve amazing weight loss.
I recently began training again back in mid April. I'm male, 26 yrs old, 5'8" tall and weighed around 243 pounds (that's about 17 stone 4 pounds to all those folks in the uk, like me

), with a 40" waist and XXL shirt size. After four months im now down 25 pounds to 217 (15 stone 7 pounds) and dropped to a 36" waist and L shirt size.
Like you I was doing cardio first thing on a morning on an empty stomach. For my first 3 months of training, I went to the gym Monday, Wednesday, Friday for 1hr or so and did 25 mins cardio (normally 10 mins bike, 10 mins elliptical trainer & 5 mins rowing machine) and an all over body workout with weights.
Now I go 5 times a week for 1hr 20 mins or so Monday, Wednesday & Friday and for 1hr Tuesday & Thursday. I do as above on Monday, Wednesday & Friday but with 35-40 mins cardio (normally 25 mins elliptical trainer and 10-15 bike) and on Tuesday & Thursday do 45-50 mins cardio (25mins elliptical trainer and 20-25 mins bike) along with a decent abs workout (I train my abs every day).
My work hours have changed so I'm gonna have more time on a morning to do cardio and am gonna try to push to 1hr of cardio Monday, Wednesday & Friday along with a whole body weights workout and 1hr 20-30 on Tuesday and Thursday with abs I have been. I'm also gonna start spilt cardio, as your have suggested, and aim for 40-60 mins cardio on an evening followed by a swim.
My goal is not to look at what the scales say but to concentrate on what the mirror says

, so It's all about burning the fat off. I'm more than overwhelmed at the difference the change in my lifestyle has made to me both mentally and physically and from the second I stop training I'm eagerly awaiting my next visit.
There is only one thing i'm really disappointed with....I've only gone and forgot to take before shots havent I

ARRRGHHHH!!!
