i've been completely out of touch without internet here. hope everyone is doing well!
so far i've lost 6.6 pounds. it's slow, but i haven't been doing as well as i had hoped. i haven't established a running or ab workout routine...same old excuses, which i need to change sometime soon. i also get caught up in all of these stupid starchy snacks at work. it's a once i start i can't stop kinda a deal...iv'e tried a couple of different things to stop but so far i can't break it.
on the plus side, i've hiked 125 miles this summer and i feel 100 percent awesome. my goal for the whole summer was originally 175 miles but now i'm going for 200 and i couldn't be happier. my roommate, a nutrition major has also been helping me make positive switches in my diet. my dinners are now less calories than my breakfast and lunch, and if i make something heavier to digest like pasta i make sure that half of the meal is pasta and the other half is vegetables. now only if i could break my bad habits...
the other day i had somewhat of a wake up call when i went to boulder to visit some friends where the bitches are rich, skinny, and merciless. i've been hit on pretty frequently at work and because of that i haven't been obsessing like normal or comparing myself to other girls. it's sad that i practically disregarded my success so far this summer because of them. another bad habit to break!
