feeling "sick" when performing

i have been hearing many people say that squats and deadlifts are extremely diffiult and every time they do them it makes them feel sick or like they want to throw up. I never feel like this; i feel tired and out of breath like i just ran but i never feel that stressed. Is it normal to feel sick or are you supposed to feel like this when you do squats b/c i dont. I do 8 reps 3 sets with heavy weight(for me).

this usually happens to people when they do really heavy sets. I've gagged a few times, but never actually barfed. :)

For the first few years lifting I never really felt it.. But once you progress to bigger weight you'll know what they're talking about and wish you were where you are now.

For real...I've almost thrown up many a time in the gym. I've always heard that happens when you use up all of the fuel in your body. I don't like the sensation, but I feel good knowing that I can push myself to that point.

I have had the same feeling when working legs especially. Usually it happens when I work at a very fast pace and with heavy weight.

Yep, I've felt it too, sometimes even heavy bench press coupled with pull ups can be enough for me, esp if I didn't sleep or eat well.

or when i started body for life, and did 5:30am workouts....i missed a few days of work because of leg routines that left me ill for a couple hours (ok, it was an excuse to miss work)
