Favorite Part of Personal Training?

I mentioned this in another thread, but it was a bit off topic. What are your favorite "personal benefits", as far as what you get out of your job?

The fact that you get to keep your fitness and your health every week?

Being able to inspire and/or help people?

Pride from fighting the obesity epidemic (is the US atleast)?

Or possibly the constant release of stress and endorphins from working in the gym most of the time?

I love my clients. What other job could you do where you are positively impacting people that you genuinely care about day after day, in a really cool work environment, and actually make a good living at it?

Bullying fat people.

Not really, I have only just begun but I like changing peoples views about things such as:

You cant spot reduce weight.
You shouldnt pre-stretch.
Going to failure isnt all its cracked up to be.
etc.

So you enjoy setting the record straight. Helping people positively impact their lives. How about staying in shape yourself? I'm sure you have a good incentive to workout and set an example. How's the schedule too? For the self employed trainers, do you enjoy flexibility?

Yeh you have to set an example. Saying that, most doctors, nutritionists, sports scientists etc. are all in appalling shape which is a disgrace- if you cant look after your own health you shouldnt be in the health industry.

I actually enjoy public speaking the most! To stand in front of a large group of people and talk about the incredible benefits that a small amount of exercise can bring really opens people's eyes!

Then I hand them all a piece of theraband and show them exercises they can do at home or on the road with that band a chair, and body weight.

You can hear the buzz go through the crowd!

Oh where to even begin... Of course the easy one, help people lose weight so that they can wear their favorite pair of pants that they haven't worn in 5+ years... Helping a mom not be out of breath and have to rest when she plays with her kids... Helping an executive not have back pain or as much back pain at the end of the day.... Like cannavaro said, setting people straight even with the littlest things and yet it makes a big difference... The money isn't a bad thing either once you get up and running :D and the list goes on and on....

I really enjoy educating people and watching them integrate the info I've given them in to their lives. Also, people often tell me that I'm the most motivated person they've met and that's it's catching. I just love that.
