I lovelovelove jumping rope. You can do it anywhere, no expensive equipment needed. It is fun! And NOTHING I have tried has done more for my calves and bootie.
I also enjoy running, though this tends to irritate my bunions more than jumping rope does. Both give that most excellent "runners high". I also like the eliptical machine, but don't feel that it gives my heart and lungs the workout that running and jumping rope do.
