Welllll.... here I am on my second time round on the most aweosme Cohens Lifelstyle Program. And loven et! I've been on my plan for 3 weeks and 4 days and already I'm looking like I lost a few (yeah ok! probably more!!) kilo's. I will be weighing myself at the 6 week mark cos the First time around, thats was when I got weighed so I want to compare losses from 2005 and my 2009 loss. 1st time around I lost 13.5 kilos in 6 weeks so will be interestingto see what the loss is because apparantly your blood profile changes so I actually should be on a new plan but cant afford one atm and will keep on (with the changes to some things from 2005 plans to now) till I can get a new one.

But so far, so awesome. I feel great. Oh heck! Gotta run! Time to prepare lunch. I'll be back after lunch to continue.

Cheers Chooks! Ciao 4 now
:)

fatgrlslim- Excellent work! Cohen's is awesome. It works! That's the big difference between it & all the others. If you follow their maintenance guidelines it would work for us forever. Unfortunately none of us are perfect! It's all a learning process & we have to make mistakes along the way. We are smart enough to know that Cohen's is our best bet. I'm using my original program as well but it is 2 years old so I am not the best one to tell you of changes. I won't wish you luck because luck does not come into it. Happy losing, Cate.

Hey, good on you for deciding to try again!! I am now 3 weeks into my plan and loving it. I lost 9.5 kilos last time I did it!! But never reached my goal weight so here I am trying again and determined to get there. Good luck on your journal and I am sure you will see my post around the forum.

Awww, thank you so much sweet ones!:blush5:

I very much appreciate ur support and luv.

I have had to move my weigh day to a later day, got monthlys on Tues, so will weigh this Tuesday. Im sooo nervous! I feel like i've lost somewhere between 8-10 kilos this time. Doesnt feel like last times 13.20 kilo's at all though

I guess I'll weight and see on Tuesday.

Did anyone watch ch9's special last night for Telethon Bushfire Appeal? I am SO proud to be an Aussie. So proud of all Aussies and the rest of the world pitching in to help those effected by the bushfires and those brave firefighters who are still trying to fight off the fires that still burn. And how about Sam the koala? What a cutey!! Kudo's go out to all fire fighters and volunteers and fund raisers who are helping the survivors of this terrible tragedy that has come upon Aus. God bless you all. :Angel_anim:

Just wondering if there are any cricket fans out there?? Or AFL fans??

Aussie Aussie Aussie!
Ooii ooii ooii!

:hurray:

Fatgrlslim-I'm a Saints fan (& member!) Tragic, I know. It means I'm an eternal optimist. I like going to cricket but love test matches, rather than ODI's or this 2020 game. I like the tradition of test cricket, just like I love the ins & outs of Le Tour de France. Means I'm a tad crazy I know but who cares.
It does you make you proud to be an Aussie, seeing how much people are pitching in. How lucky are we? Very!
Good luck with the weigh-in! xoxoCate

Sports widow...

I am a sports widow ha ha ha.. Being a sandgropper i do support West Coast Eagles and as long as they aren't vs each other i have been known to support the dockers...
Cricket ha ha h a, my hubbies just got me understanding footy....

I'm with you on the cricket fifty -you should try watching rugby -my 15 year old son plays and even though it has been explained to me by various people I still don't get the point of kicking the ball backwards????

Cheers for your replies, yeah I'm a Crows/Port fan... yeah I know! I'm on the fence! I come from a two team town and still cant commit to just one! The thing I do every year is also chose a non-SA club to support for the year. This year's going to be... Brissy Lions. (Looking fwd to new Club coming in next year, Gold Coast... that should be interesting)

I'm also looking fwd to watching bushfire charity 20/20 cricket game this Sunday... even if you are not a cricket lover, watch for the entertainment value of watching past, present players and also other celebrity and other ppl from all sports codes playing cricket. Should be great. :hurray:

Glad we won last nights 20/20... what a thriller!! Really enjoyed it. Also looking fwd to Sth Africa tests and one dayers i'll be able to watch on Fox. Woooo!

I'm soooo nervous about tomorrow morning... my first weigh since starting 6 weeks and two days ago. Thanks to all who have sent me encouraging posts... much appreciated sweetys! I will come back tomorrow and post my results. Till then, its ciao for now. xoxox

Well done Fatgirlslim. You're about a week further along in the diet than me - I was 10kg down last week.

Second time around I have learnt SOOOOOO much - I'm much more easy-going this time, I know all the tricks, know when I will be tempted. This time I know I have to do this under my own steam, that it is a way of life and not just a "diet" that will end. I used to think that once the diet ended, I was "cured" and would be OK. Learning to make good choices every single day, no matter what the pressure, what the work hours, how starving I am - so liberating!

Look forward to hearing more about your journey in the coming days and weeks.
