Barefoot runners are injured at about the same rate as shod runners. They do tend to have fewer injuries overall, but run fewer miles. Their injuries are more likely to occur on the feet & calf vs the knee & hip for shod runners.

I’ve always been curious about how combining strength and HIIT impacts overall performance and recovery. Looking forward to diving into the study, it sounds like a great resource.
