exercise equipment

this might seem like a dumb question but im gonna ask it anyway lol. can you do HIIT at the gym on a machine like the eliptical or a bike..not much into running bc im prone to very bad schin splints..used to run cross country and now cant do it anymore cuz of them..but anyway is it possible and what would it look like on a bike/eliptical/whatever else is in the gym

so if i were to use an exercise bike (personally my favourite) i would do a 5 minute warm up, then a minute of high intensity followed but a minute of low intensity for 15 minutes, then a 5 minute cool down?

ok thanks and i know this is off of this topic but right now i do a 3 day split which looks like...monday-biceps and back, wednesday- triceps and chest, friday-legs and shoulders...would it be more benefical for me to switch to a full body workout those three days instead of the split im using now..im only about 3 weeks into my program and have lost about 8 pounds so it seems to be working fine..but ive been thinking about switching to fullbody 3 times a week..would that be smart?

ok cool so how many times should i hit each muslce group when i do it..ive found it easier to do full body days in the nautilus room because all of those machines work like 3 different muscles at the same time..as for sets/reps im still so confused on that..ive asked but the answers to my question just confused me more haha..i used to work out a lot in 9th grade with the wrestling coach and im a senior now but i just cant seem to get the RIGHT advice as opposed everyone thinking their advice is right you know? but if you could help me that would be great

ok i checked the sticky and im gonna go check out the other website for a full body work out plan...i have winter break next friday so ill be in full control of when i eat and when i go to the gym so ill be able to get a good start on it..thanks for all your help :)

ok i might IM you in a few minutes so i dont have to keep posting haha..would that be fine i only have a couple of more questions
