Sorry about that dumb message from yesterday...lol

I have just had a salad without dressing so far. I put a little bit of lemon juice on it. It has 0 cals. So I think total it was 100-200 cals.

I walked up and downhill for an hour at 6:00 this morning before the sun came up. It felt so great. It was finally not too cold! Then at around 7:20 I did my regular workouts. I forgot how good walking makes me feel. The 4 pounds that I gained was just water weight. I retain fluid alot for some reason. I drink alot of water. I only drink water and juice. My family doesn't even buy cokes. I don't care for them.

I'm not sure what I'm gonna do later on today. I might go see my boyfriend, might go to work with my mom. Not sure.

I ordered some running shoes off the internet yesterday. They should get here on Thursday. I'm getting a gym membership soon also. They have a really cool indore track there. It's hard to go running because I kinda live off a highway and theres a buisiness right down the road from me. So thats why I usually do it on weekends. But when I get my gym membership I can run whenever I want! :p


Why I want to lose weight:
-To get my confidence back.
-To learn self-control.
-To feel and be pretty again.
-To be healthier!
-To feel better and not be fatigued all the time.
-So I can look hott in a bathing suit.
-So people will take me seriously.
-I want to prove everyone wrong. I don't want to be the fat one anymore. And I can impress my pretty out of state friends when I go visit them this summer.
Theres way more but those are the main reasons.

My Goals:
-Eat around 1300 cals a day or less.
-Eat lots of fruits and veggies! I love them!
-Lose 1-3 pounds a week.
-Workout everyother day.
-Walk for an hour when I can.
-Keep a positive attitude, and stay determined.

Long entry..hehe

Saturday I stayed up 24 hours. So within those 24 hours I had a salad without dressing-50 cals, 13 hours later I had chinese buffet with my boyfriend, and around 12:30 at night I had taco bell and then passed out asleep. lol.

Sunday I had Organic cereal, a sandwhich, chicken soup, and a hershey bar.

Today I have had a salad without dressing-50 cals and soup-200 cals.

I tried to go walking/jogging this morning but it was like 24 degrees and my face went numb within 10 minutes! lol. I did my ab workouts at like 3:00 in the morning. I woke up at 2:00 in the morning because I went to bed at like 3:00 yesterday. lol.

I think I am only gonna weigh myself 1-3 times a week so I don't get discouraged. I mean everyones weight can fluctuate a pound or two within a day. blah...lol

My main goal in losing weight is not just to look good, but to learn self-control. The difference between want and need. Back in the day people couldn't just walk into the kitchen and grab a debbie cake, they had to work for their food. Sometimes barbarically kill(lol).They ate only what they needed to, to survive. I think thats how things should be today. We have made eating a conventional thing. The only reason we think we need so much food is because our bodies have adapted to eating alot. Food is in our faces everywhere we go. It's a part of the system like T.V., movies, religion, etc. And all they care about is making the buck. McDonalds "I'm lovin it", thats why we buy the food. We try to buy this false image that the fast food companies try to convey. I'm sure if it said "Unhealthy greasy food" we wouldn't buy it. I don't want to be controlled by the system. Do you? We live our lives doing what society tells us to do. Humanity has lost almost all instinct.

I think the main reason alot of people are fat is because not everyone can afford organic, healthy food. High-fructose corn syrup is in everything! Including slimfast shakes!!! I truly believe some reasons we are sick is from all the artificial preservatives and whatnot in food. They pump tomatos and other produce with dyes. So we are fooled into buying it. They give cows and chickens steroids. Not to mention antibiotics and everything else. I'm sorry, but I don't want that stuff in my body..lol. I don't understand why the system does this..it's wrong.

Anyhoo, sorry about the rambling. I wanted to get my thoughts out. lol. And sorry to anyone who actually read all of that! haha! I hope everyone has an awesome day and doesn't get discouraged! :)
 
Lonely..

Well I haven't eaten anything today. I had some juice which was 70 cals. I did my regular workouts earlier. I'm going to work with my mom for exercise and something to do. She cleans. I will be cleaning with her from 5:00-11:00 at night. My tennis shoes came but my sister didn't answer the door, so I won't get them until Monday. :mad:

For the past 5 days I have messed up once. I ate over 2,000 cals. But besides that day I ate well and worked out. I still haven't lost weight. :(

I'm gonna cut my calories to even less like 800-1200. I'm not gonna have any chocolate or candy either. And see if it helps. I mean I have been trying to lose weight for 6 months. Haven't lost a pound. I eat around 1300 cals a day.

I'm getting a gym membership whenever we have 2 vehicles. But nobody wants to finance us for a truck. And my sisters car is in the shop. We have a rental car right now. And my mom and dad both have to get to work and my sister uses it too. It's nuts...but when I do get that memebership I will go to the gym everyday all day, to burn cals and keep away from food. I can't wait!

It snowed here the other day. Theres still snow on the ground. It's pretty.

hiya hun. i really think you should stick with the 1300 calorie mark and not worry about days when you have slip ups. have you joined fitday or spark people that will tell you how many calories you burn during a day and how many you should eat? these really gtave me some direction and made me realise that i could actually eat more calories than i thought i could.
females are recomended to not eat under 1200 calories each day. eating under it can actually slow your weight loss - it will put your body into strvation mode and your metabolism will slow right down. this needs to be a lifestyle change and something that you can keep up forever. :)
i know from past experience - about a yr ago i had an eating disorder and eventually i got myself into such a state i was eating half an apple for breakfast, two crackers for dinner and a cereal bar for tea - i couldnt break the habit. and yeah idid have really fast dramatic weight loss. but as soon as i got out of the scary habit it put on so fast because my metabolism hasd practically stopped!
eating 500 lesss calories than normal each day will ensure at least a punds weight loss each week.
just wanted to make sure you knew all this and didnt make the same mistake as i did.
i know it can be frustrating and sometimes feel really slow but it will happen if you keep working at it :D

Well...I'm back

:) Friday I went to work with my mom. I did alot of vaccuming and moping. It was actually fun since my mom and I don't get to spend alot of time together. We went to Sonic for supper, I got a grilled chicken salad with fat free italian dressing. Saturday I went to an awards thing with my sister. She rides horses and shows them. They had strange mystery caseroles there....so I didn't get anything and had a diet root beer. I had Taco Bell when I got home. It was a small thing and I had a little salad after that. Sunday I went to work with my mom again and had another grilled chicken salad. I also went to work with her yesterday! lol. I have done my regular workouts every day.

Today I'm not going anywhere. My grandad died a few days ago. My dad just got on a plane to go to the funeral. He died of heart failure. I never really knew him. The last time I saw my dads parents was like 8 years ago...and that was like my 3rd time ever seeing them. So I'm not broken up about it. I'm sad that my dad didn't get to see him before he died though. :(

It's abnormally warm here today...we have the air on! haha! So I'm thinkin about going for a jog. I slept all day since we had to take my dad to the air port at 5:00 in the morning. My tennis shoes finally came but they are a little too big. So I'm giving them to my sister. I think I need to just go buy some instead of ordering off the internet.

All of those days a had around 1000 cals. Not counting what I burned off by working out and cleaning.

Banana-90

Hi sweetheart, sorry to hear about your grandfather. I dont mean to burst your bubble but it sounds like your eating around 500 calories a day and I'm wondering if that's the reason you haven't lost anything? 1300 is very very low for a young active girl like you, so it sure sounds like you're body got into starvation mode and slowed down your metabolism. Dont you want to do what you need to do to get that metabolism moving again? Isn't that a better, easier way to weight loss? Please please dont take offense but it seems your methods have not worked and its time to try something different. Best wishes :)
