So here goes...Im starting a diary on here to keep myself accountable. Today was actually a good day to start because my eating today was nothing to be proud of and maybe this will get me back on track. I had a homemade cheeseburger, and a lean cuisine, and 2 fudge bars...haha, this is rediculous. Well all of this is partly becuase I have no food in my house to eat. Lucky for me tomorrow I'm going to the grocery store. Even though I ate horrible, I dont think my calorie count was too far above normal. I need to take it one day at a time. Tomorrow is all I have in mind right now, I will do better tomorrow.:eek:

My goal to lose this week will be 2lbs. I weigh 155 this morning, so my goal for my next Monday weigh in will be 153!
 
Hi Ella. Welcome to the forum. I think that the calorie count to some people is not as important as the carbs. Carbs break down into sugar. For example, the fudge that you had may be low on calories but loaded with carbs and fat. I know that it is very hard to stay away from that kind of food, but you must break a few habits. Yes, go get some groceries to put in your fridge and cupboards. Get lots of veggies and healty things to snack on. I am on a low carb diet because sugar and carbs make me go "crazy". (Borderline diabetic) Good for you for joining us here. You will definatley get lots of information here and by all means, join a group it you want to. It is alot more fun to participate in a challenge. Makes you really want to get to your goals faster. Take care.
 
Well today I did mch better. For breakfast I had a bowl of cheerios and skim milk. For Lunch I had a lean cuisine meal, and a peach with some lowfat whip cream for a snack. For dinner I had 2 small chicken breasts on half a bun with 2 slice of swiss cheese. This was a very healthy good day, however one of my faults is that I drank about 3 frescas today. They have no calories, but I dont like drinking that much soda.
 
Hi Ella!! Glad you started a diary! Already down 4 lbs, eh?? Great work! I've found it very importatn to keep healthy foods aroudn the house...this helps and that cardio too! yeah!!

whats your calorie goal? do you have one? exercise plan?

today I ate cheerios for breakfast with skim milk, a lean cuisine for lunch, a peach for snack, and 4 eggo wheat waffles for dinner. no cardio today, didnt get home from work til 8.
 
looking good on the food. do you track your calories? wondering if that is low or comes to at least 1200?

Today I had an instant breakfast for breakfast, yes I know this is pathetic, I had to grab it going out the door, and this is definitely not normal for me not to eat breakfast. Lunch I had a homade cheese burger and a small amount of fries. Dinner was spaghetti, afterwards I was craving somehting sweet, so I ate some fat free whip cream. This was my worst day lately, but still a huge improvement from what I used to eat. I will not lose my motivation over that.
 
Well done with the 4lb loss so far you are doing great! Glad you are staying motivated even after a bad day, that is one thing i always find i am lacking in! Hope you are having a good day and keep up the good work!
 
Okay, So I have been a slacker and not posted for over 3 days! I think I'm still on track for my 2lbs though. I am going to weigh in tomorrow and see how I did. I want to start implementing a weight lifting routine instead of so much cardio, I'm afraid that I will lose muscle mass and not my fat.
