Eating healthy but constipated?

I've hardly ever been constipated in my life. But lately, since I've been eating really healthy, I feel like I've got concrete in my colon. I'm getting 25-30g of fiber a day on average. So it's not an issue of not enough fiber.

Any ideas?

Hi, I am wondering what constitutes to you as being healthy?

Maybe we can help you better with why you may be constipated if we knew what are the kinds of things you're eating. How much water you drink, ect..?

About 2500 calories a day, roughly 30% fat, 30% protein, and 40% carbs. Lots of lean protein, fresh fruit and vegetables, starches like sweet potatoes and brown rice, lots of healthy fat from olive oil, nuts, peanut butter, avocados, etc.

I haven't been measuring my water input, but I imagine it's at least 64 oz a day, plus whatever I drink when I exercise.

I will say that I drink quite a bit of tea, so I'm getting a lot of caffeine too.

You should be drinking more water. I posted this recently.

You should be drinking 1 oz of water for every 2 pounds that you weigh...

Plus caffeine can work against you.

Measure your water.
