The scales is the best measuring tool available to see how much calories is coming off after 1 hour 30 min workouts. Riding the gym cycles is a sweater. Calories just keep pouring off.
 
If you are into weight loss program and find it difficult to count the number of calories you intake each day- Weight Watcher have developed a point system which is easy to follow and makes meal planning comfortable. Points are assigned to each food item based on their fiber and calorie content per serving. After you come to terms on the number of points you can eat every day-you can decide on food items, monitor their serving size in order to maintain a healthy diet plan. Make intelligent choice and select fruits and vegetables high in fiber content which will make you feel full during the day. By maintaining a healthy diet- you will have lots of energy during the day and help you to get rid of unwanted fat.

How to count weight watchers points per day

Step1: Decide on how many points you can have each day.
Follow the following guidelines:

Female: 2 points
Male: 8 points
Nursing: 12 points

Age:
17 to 26: 4 points
27 to 37: 3 points
38 to 47: 2 points
48 to 57: 1 point
58 and above: 0 points

Make use of above category to add the points.

Step2: Weigh yourself on a scale and add the first two numbers to the points you have so far.
For ex, A woman who is 38 yrs of age and weighs 180 pounds will add 18 to her overall points for a total of 22 points. (2+2+18=22)

Step3: Calculate on how much exercise you do through out the day. If you don’t exercise, do not give yourself any points. If you walk for the day, give yourself 4 points. If you exercise for about 20 minutes each day-give yourself 6 points.

Step4: Add this points to your total and the number you get-are the points you’re allowed to use every day. All food items are given a point value according to their fiber and calorie content per serving.

Step5: You can keep a check on how much is included in a serving, which will help you to ensure that you don’t go over your points for the day.
 
im so silly when it comes to food without realizing how it can affect my body this thread help me try to realize everything
 
Kick the habit on liquid calories. Liquid calories are useless calories. You don't need to drink things like soda, calorie-rich coffees, and alcohol. All these drinks do is make you gain fat. There is no arguing the statement. If you drink a lot of these, or even a little, you are severely limiting the amount of fat you can lose.
 
great video!...i agree I myself get carried away sometimes by thinking its the correct portion but instead im over porting(is that even a word?lol).

If you are strong enough to act on the strict diet chart and you do hard exercises and do hard works and play different sorts of game and you have good control over your diet. Then i think it is the only best tip to reduce your fat.

I disagree. WIllpower is only an emotion..it comes and goes. You need to establish HABITS, routines, that you will automatically follow...or at least be easier to follow on days that you might not have this 'mighty' willpower.
 
i agree.. you have to establish a habit/routine and follow it but willpower will either keep you on your routine or make you stray.
 
I never really measure/weigh my food, I absolutely do approximate! What an eye opener - thanks for the vid! (it's silly, I measure my dogs food and not mine! according to this I probably over feed her, too!)
 
I "always" weight my food instead of measuring, because its just so much more accurate. If I cannot weight, then I do a punishing round-up of the number, from 210 up to 300 calories just to make sure that even if I am not measuring it accurately I measure it for more than for less than it actually "costs" in calories.
 
Wow! Very informative video, Leigh. I would definitely start weighing my snacks so that I can measure the calories I take as well as monitor my calorie intake. I have also read that to lose weight effectively, you need to consume enough energy to burn fat, and eat the right foods to maintain your level of lean muscle tissue.
 
One easy tips that I would like to give is to drink a big glass of water before each meal. You will most likely eat anywhere from 20 to 40 percent less. Try it it works!

It was pertaining to a video I saw about measuring food with measuring cups vs. digital scale.


Thanks for emphasizing this point.

I used to measure alittle less to make sure I would be ok with calories. I forgot about that though.

The video reminded me, and I did not know there were digital food scales.
 
There are many ways to lose weight but dont know whether you will find it easy or no .
go for a walk at least for 45 min a day
drink aloe vera juice
white oats meal 2 bowl daily
green leafy vegetable
fruit juice
soups
