Dustins Fat to Fit Diary

What an eating day.

1.5 Liters Soda
200g Potato chips
100g Chip dip
160g Hamburger
100g French Fries
10 Chicken nuggets
50g Chocolate

And 2 little oranges.

:)

Eek. HEY- at least* you had those oranges, lol.
My day=not so great either. TOmorrow will be MUCH better!

It was the last day of Christmas vacation. I just said "screw it" when thinking about calories and went crazy.

Things are back on track though.

Breakfast
- 1 medium banana
- 1 mug of hot chocolate

Lunch
- 100g uncooked oats
- 100g yogurt milk
- Water

Workout
- Whey protein drink

Dinner
- 100g cheese bread
- 100g seasoned pepper ham
- 150g Paprika cheese
- 11oz coca-cola

:)

Approx 2000 calories - rounding up. Mix that with 1 hour weight training (HEAVY) and 25minutes cardio (had to leave early), I'd say today was a good day.
Taco salad tomorrow.. didn't feel like making it today.

So I am going to bed tired...

Waking up for another boring day at work....

And hitting the gym for TWO HOURS of freaking cardio....

I can't sit down on the toilet... I can't raise my arms over my head. What a workout the last two days.

I did some measurements today out of boredom. Just some cool ones, not the fat ones. Checking progress of weight training. My body is so unproportional. Read for yourself.

Approx - 250lbs

Wrist - 6.75"
Forearm - 12.75"
Bicep - 16"

Ankle - 9"
Calf - 18"
Thigh/Quad - 25"

Chest (Across nipples) - 48"
Waist - 38"

I've got a feeling I won't get to my 212 goal with my body size. :(

I swear I am addicted to Salad. I put tuna AND chicken in it today. Topped with Salsa, and I am set for the evening.

Either a full body workout or tons of endurance cardio tomorrow. Unsure yet.

Ate a 13" WHOLE pizza for dinner. :)

People are going to be so confused when they see my journal and see I'm losing weight.

I'm still not checking the scales, but put on a jacket that would not fit last year and was tight last month. Now 3 inches loose. Inner thigh muscles getting super tight. Back fat melting away. Arm muscles getting bigger. I'll have an official weigh in on February 1st for those watching.

I'm WAY off my distance goal so far. It's been -19C and snow for the last week. My beard begins to freeze up after 5 seconds. :(

There is a Handball game on Sunday. If anyone is familiar with European or, Team, Handball, I was a goalie for the team last year. I lead the region with a 13-0 record and only allowing 18.75 goals per game. I am not playing this year due to a finger injury. I am just wondering if I will be better or the same next year when I play. I might sneak in on Sunday.

Sore from yesterdays full body workout. Planning on going to the gym for a cardio only day. It will probably be something like this:

Hand Bike - 30:00
Stationary Bike - 30:00
5 Minute Break
Heavy Bag II - 20:00
Hand Bike - 20:00
Recumbent Bike - 20:00

Heavy Bag I - 15:00
Stepper - 10:00
5 Minute Cool down

Total Time : 145:00 / 2 hrs 25 minutes

I'll post again if I actually do it :blush5:

I also plan on cooking for my wife tonight. Here is the menu I have prepared.

Chicken Parmigiana
Steamed Vegetables (Broccoli, Red Pepper, Baby carrots)
Roasted Potatoes

And maybe some Garlic Bread on the side. :)

Just got back from the gym. This is what I ended up with today - it's a little different than what I had planned in the previous post.

25:00 - Stationary Bike
20:00 - Hand Bike
15:00 - Stepper
25:00 - Heavybag Workout
20:00 - Hand Bike
15:00 - Recumbent Bike
05:00 - Stepper
125:00 / 2 Hours 5 minutes

A LOT of sweat burned away, and drank about 2.5L of water. Post workout meal - 1 Banana, 100g smoked turkey fillet, 100g bakery fresh cheesebread roll.

Counting down til I hit the kitchen.

I think I will abandon this for a while. No real goal in mind for weight loss anymore. Thinking different now... something big. :)

A month since my last post. Still the exact same # weight. hmm.

Been in the gym 4-5 days a week. Missed one week due to a scratched cornea. Just moved up to the power training of my program. Sore every day of the week. Arms bigger - legs leaner - waist smaller. So I guess the lb number doesn't matter.

Ouch, scratched cornea!! Did you get to wear a super amazing eye patch? :)
No, the number on the scale isn't reallllly important; but I definately like to see the smaller numbers, lol.

Patch for one day -- or for four hours actually.

The scale is a liar for me. I shrink, get more muscular, and it always says 250.

Today's workout was rough. Made it to 180kg on squats only 14 months after a a ligament was removed from my left knee. Got in some jump squats. Oh hey, more veins popping out of the legs and arms now. Must be losing body fat. But still.... 250lbs.

I am going to end up with the body of a mexican professional wrestler.
Example :

Looking forward to tomorrow -- Free Food Fridays -- anything to get off this "Oatmeal, Fruit, Tuna" diet.

Big ole 160g Cheeseburger with bacon..... yummmmmmmmmmmmm!

It has been knee deep snow since DECEMBER 13th here. No chance in hell getting out for a jog, much less a walk.

Shoulder day tomorrow. Doing a 5x5 program for 6 weeks (4 more to go).

Soo.. Slurge day this week was Friday (yesterday). Got it out of the way for a healthy weekend.

Friday
2 Bananas
192g yogurt + musli
280g soup in a cup
.5l Coke
.5l Pepsi
100g potato chips
100g chocolate
130g chocolate/waffle cookies
1.5 pepperoni pizzas (sauce, cheese, pepperoni, green pepper, onion, mushrooms)

Now down to 246 actually. Strange. I come on here whining about no weight change, and now I'm down 5. Maybe I should write in my diary every day. Closing in on 20 lbs in 75 days. Might reach 25 in 90 -- but still good progress nonetheless.

There is a new product in my supermarket now - YT -
Developed by Olympians in Norway. Really tasty stuff and will now be my preworkout drink. :)

Started off the weekend with a 2 egg/can of tuna omelet. Might workout with my brother-in-law later.

180kg on squats today. Movin' on up from fat, flabby legs to some definition in the quads. Did have a balance problem which sent the weight to the floor on a second sit. Worried about a twisted knee coming around tomorrow.

I also realized I can sit at the hip adductor machine all day with 70kg.

Chest/Biceps tomorrow. I might actually try to do barbell bench press for a change from dumbbell. But there are never any spotters around to help. :(

Oooh yeah, be careful of how much weight you use with no spotter- I've seen some pretty nasty accidents cuz of that. *shiver* eek. I can't even imagine! Congrats on the loss too :D

My monthly update : 90 days have passed since I went into the gym. Lost a total of 20lbs -- lost 15 in the first month. Though the number doesn't matter. Upper body strength is 2x since starting. Arms, Chest, Quads have all grown. Calves, Belly, and backfat have slimmed out.

If I posted an during/after picture now, no one would believe I was 245. But, I'll wait until my 6 month update to do that.
