DQ Something Different

Ice roads are still up, for right now. And summer is 12 weeks, not 2. :toetap05: Besides, I'd hate it too hot, can't move around at all. Give me cool and crisp any day. :)

I get that way about old buildings too. I am really happy in the 45 degree to 75 degree themperature range, but beyond that not so much.

Ya i hate it hot too - how has it been going Dari...I would still love to meet you sometime...That sucks about the old buildings...

Uh, when I start getting more toned? lol! Due to a lack of exercise for the last 5 months, the weight I do have is complete jiggly fat. Not pretty.

Hey girl, your msn is sending out login account request scammers while you're offline.

You might want to look into this. There are several different versions of this bug but short story, you have an infection (of some degree).

Just thought you'd wanna know.

Thought I'd dust the cobwebs off of this thing...I've started making some more changes in mine life, and I'm trying to combine them.

I have this habit of charging into something new, getting all involved, and then slowly pulling away and starting something new. I think that's what happened with the weight loss. Luckily, I've held on to maintenance for the last year. I've been fluctuating up and down about 5 lbs.

My goal, starting this month, is to lose more weight, budget and save money, pay off debt, and keep my house a little cleaner and more organized. Instead of focusing on one thing at a time, I'm trying to go day by day and week by week to combine all three into one big challenge for myself. It's starting off slowly, but seems to be getting off on the right foot.

As of this morning, I'm weighing in at 142...2 lbs above goal. My new goal is to surpass that and reach 130.

So it's Sunday morning, and I come downstairs way to early to find a message from T2 on my computer....reminding me that it has been far too long. :(

I used to wonder why people stopped posting here, when all it seemed to do was lead to weight gain, and then I don't even follow my own advice. :smash:

Still holding slightly above my original goal; debt smashing is going fairly well. My car was paid off in May, and with re-working my budget and shopping only the sales (only have one small store to get groceries), I've managed to be able to pay for everything and start saving with only MY paychecks! This means, the ex is no longer able to stress me out! In fact, he missed the last child support payment, and never left me a cheque for the next 4 that he's going to be gone for (away drilling for 8 weeks). And it doesn't affect me or my kids at all. Little does he know I applied for legal aid so I can start going through maintenance enforcement. Can't wait for that to start.

My house is still messy, but am slowly working on de-cluttering. Have been going through my hundreds and hundreds of books and vhs movies, and have gotten 4 boxes of stuff to have a yard sale at the end of summer.

Now, I just need to refocus on the weight loss. I've been stressing out over work. Got bumped up to full time, and finally, after 2 or 3 years, have gotten a raise! However, we are really shortstaffed, but have more kids every day than we ever had before, and a few of them are high maintenance tantrum/screamers. :p

Have got to start holding myself accountable again. So out comes Fitday for tracking calories, and I weighed myself this morning. A little worse than I thought:

143.2 lbs

So my immediate goal for today is to replace half my diet pepsi with water, and track my food. Oh, and the sun is finally out (built an ark yesterday:cuss:), so I'm going to take the kids for a nice walk.

That is awesome Dar!!!I went through family Maintance a few years back and I havent regretted it. My ex would make the biggest ordeal over paying me, He always had to see me and make my life hell just to recieve it and it was always his fight and struggle to see taneesha, he would actually refuse to leave till he saw her, plus he was always late.I told him one day I had finally had enough and I filed.Best benefit is I get it in my bank account and I dont have to see him as he isnt a part of taneesha's life:)

HI DQ, I'm back after several months trying to find myself in all the back pages and I haven't so far but I found YOU and want to wish you well. I have renewed enthusiasm, a new approach. Take care.

Hey DQ! I haven't been on here in three years but I thought I'd stop by your diary anyway. Hope you are doing well!
