Hey guys, heres a question. I understand carbs and calories are fuel for the body when working out, exercising, etc. Right now, I think I eat pretty good and train 2-3 days a week, and do cardio 2-3 days a week. I'm wanting to bump this up a bit. Im going to add 2-3 more days of training and try to do cardio just about every day. Maybe even doing it on the evenings of the days I train. So my question is, how do I know how much I need to increase my food/supplement intake? I dont wanna overeat, but I want to have enough to keep up with the activity. Heres what I deal with now.
meal 1 = protein shake
meal 2 = oatmeal
meal 3 = lunch, typically some sort of chicken, maybe on a sub, veggies, etc
meal 4 = nutritional drink (high protein boost)
meal 5 =dinner, protein, veggies, carbs
meal 6 = again, some sort of chicken or chicken w/brown rice, veggies, etc
* m,w, and usually thursday i train for an hour, have a protein shake after
just looking for any advice here. thanks guys.
