Does the ability to lift more necessarily mean your getting bigger?

Or are my muscles just really dense. Over the past 6 months what I can lift has increased ten fold. I'm throwing on twice as much on the bench and a lot more for my chest. But, I'm not really getting too much bigger. I have been getting bigger, but not too much.

I feel like I am in a rut. I take one protein suppliment (ISO XP) once a day, immediately after I work out. Any suggestions?
 
if u do not have any probs with body fat i would suggest u increase on yr carb intake...obviously DO NOT exagerate but carbs definately help in bulking up.... keep that protein suppl going if u dont lead a high protein diet cos that helps...

also, have u tried changing yr routine over the past six months?
or maybe slow down on the speed of yr reps (keeping the same amount of reps & weight but doing them slower in order 2 maximise the strain on d muscle?)
