dip problems

i started doing dips a week ago yesterday.on monday and tuesday a felt a lot of pain in between my shoulders and chest.that is right where i am dipping.i had to stop doing them because it's starting to affect my bench and others.is there anything i can do to stengthen that part of my shoulders?

Dips can be notorious for shoulder impingments. Be careful with these and if they hurt...stop. It sounds like you need to strengthen up your rotator cuffs.
 
I do the decline bench in place of the dips myself because of the pinching. You can try that, it targets the muscles in a similiar way.



Be sure to keep the weight on these very low.
