diet

ok i wasnt quite sure where to put this so here is good. i used to work out quite alot and never really gave up on it but slowed down alot. now i am back into it with a passion thanks to some people on here........and the posts i have read, but i am alittle concerned by what i am eating. i am eating 6 times a day three square meals plenty of carbs and protien low fat chicken pasta rice noodles beans and pulses its killing me!! how i love le big mac!! but eating six times a day i am having what i call snaks like i dunno healthy eating crisps and biscuits and then i dunno a sandwhich so basically it looks something like breakfast: ceral and toast. 11 am a cheese sandwich lunch hot meal chicken pasta noddles rice something like that 3 another sandawich preferbaly meat of some description and then 6-7 dinner tuna/fish more rice veg and so on and then a light snack in the evenign say about 8. i work out some time between 7-8for about 1hour simply put...............am i going the right way??

its good that you're eating 6X a day but what your eating can be improved.

wheres the protien for breakfast?

do you have access to canned tuna or chicken, fruits, nuts, etc
 
thanks bear i do yeah but i my problem is a am fairly small and my body finds it pretty hard to eat in the morning period!! so now that i have managed to get into the routine of eating i dont wanna push too hard to soon ya know? i eat alot of all of the above but for breakfast??? i mean i like tuna but first meal of the day?? i guess i am just worried about making myself ill i went through a stage of being sick if i ate when i woke up i needed to leave it about an hour. thats not the case anymore but i just didnt wanna overdo it. I try and have a cooked breakfast egg whites and lean bacon. grilled and the egg whites poched. but i guess if i am honest my saturated fat level is probably too high. I am not porky if anything the opposite but i guess its all acruing on the inside. thanks abear!!
 
Hey there. I'm kind of new to this but your posting caught my eye. I've recently lost 23 pounds and I've done this by counting calories. I know, I know. Pain in the tush but hey it works. You sound like your doing well eating often. Another big point is to make sure your not taking in more cals than your putting out. And obviously get a combination of protein and carbs. Your body needs it all. I've tried many diets but I've found that the simplest is this. Make sure you do what works for you. Good luck:)

holy cow man!! listen i dont wanna lose weight no, but the principle is still the same only reversed so i guess it helped kinda. dont go mad no is here to p*** anyone off just have a laugh and help each other. Jees some people take life whaaaaay to seriously.........like mr thursday night rvd says "chill out dude"
 
You seem to be doing ok...maybe incorporate more fruits and veggies as suggested and proteins for breakfast...egg whites etc...you can add alot to them...nuts, cheese...in moderation.
