Diary of a Hockey Girl

weight- 150 lbs.

Okay so it's day one. I didn't actually decide on this life changing, whatever you call it thing until later in the day. So I kinda ate a lot today. But, and it's a very good but, I made myself exercise today. I had the whole day off today and I really just felt like being lazy. Instead I got my butt off of the computer, put on my skates and went outside. I really needed to learn how to do left side backwards crossovers for hockey (I play defense) so I made that an excuse to make myself go outside. So I practiced that for about 2 hours or so and skated on home.

When I got home, I did the usual lazy thing, threw my stuff on the floor and got right back on the computer. My mom then got home from work and was like I want to go for a walk. I was thinking, ugh no I don't feel like it, but I did it anyways and actually enjoyed myself.

So, progress = not much as far as food goes, but I did get some good exercise and feel good about doing it. Now this girl is going to go watch the hockey game and hope for a win. GO SHARKS!

Hello! I'm fairly new as well and I love hockey. I don't play, but I use to go to games almost everyday of the week. I miss watching those sexy boys play. Anyway, look forward to you posting more. :)
 
Day Two

Day Two, Well I did better today. Instead of eating a huge breakfast and not eating at school, I made a healthy substantial lunch. As a result i wasn't quite as hungry when I got home and didn't eat everything I could get my hands on. I came home, walked both of my friend's dogs for about 30 minutes, and had a spinach salad and cheese, lettuce, and tomato sandwich on wheat toast. about 2 hours later I had a bowl of cereal for desert. I know I still ate a lot more than most people eat, but trust me, I did a lot better than I usually do and I'm trying not to burn myself out right away.

I'm not going to weigh myself until the end of the week because It's a certain time of the month and I gain like 5 pounds in water weight.

So that's about it for today, Sharks lost last night, grrrr. Oh well, we'll beat Calgary tomorrow.
