Desperately seeking the real Auburn

Just letting you know that I havent forgotten you. I hope that April is going well for you and that the studying, food and exercise are all in control.

Hi everybody! I'm back!
It's been a long time, I know, but I wanted to see how you're all doing. I've visited several diaries (Omega, Angel, Bikinibound, Bella, Lindsey...). You're all doing so well

I'm trying to get back on the wagon, so to speak. My weight's up since last time I was here - I'm about 88kg - so I guess I'm just starting over again from scratch. Life has been difficult the past few months, and now that I'm working again full-time, it's even more hectic.

I signed up to Weightwatchers and I think that'll work out better than trying to do this on my own.

See you soon!

Thanks Tina for stopping by :grouphug:

I'm doing my best at the moment but it's hard going with work, the kids and so on. Tomorrow is the half-term break - 10 days of a lighter load. Yeah !!! I'm off to visit family in England for 4 days, then I'll be back home trying to get into a good rythmn. It ain't easy!

:hurray:*Big Yeah*:hurray:
Hi Auburn!!!!
Your back! Your Back!!
So happy to see that things have gone well for you this summer.
Don't feel bad about where you are weight wise. This summer was pretty hard on me too. I actually got all the way down to 184 back in April and then I got a bad bout of depression, not sure what triggered it, which sent me into a tale spin that I didn't stop until late August. Which is when I finally went to the doc and got on some meds.
By the time I got back under control I had gained back nearly 23 pounds!!! Yikes!
But I am once again on the verge of "One"derland. Hopefully tomorrow will be my day.
Sooooo glad to have you back.

Hey Auburn, glad to see you back! I haven't lost any weight lately as I'm 4.5 months preggers..lol. Hope you enjoy WW and achieve your goals. :)

Hi Bella and BB!

Thanks for stopping by!

Bella: I'm sorry about the depression. I've suffered from it myself over the years and have tried all sorts of methods for getting myself out of it on my own. I have to admit that the doctor's pills always did wonders and they are certainly quick relief. I always feel disappointed when I have to ressort to heavy-duty medicine, but when you've got a family to look after, you just can't let yourself slide too much, isn't that so.

If it's not too indiscreet, what did the doctor prescribe?

BB: Yeah, I saw that! Congratulations!!! But, just to really iritate you, I'll just say that during my last pregnancy I only gained 3kg (7lbs) which means that when the baby was born I was actually lighter than at the beginning of the pregnancy! Unfortunately, I didn't keep on the staight and narrow and, as soon as I'd stopped breastfeeding, the weight just piled on! (If it's any consolation, with the first two pregnancies I put on loads of weight and lost it all really easily afterwards - when you're young, pregnancy fat seems to dissolve more quickly!).

As for me, I've been home in England for a week, and have eaten myself silly. I haven't made any progress on the weight-loss front, but I'm still determined. This time next year, I want to be as successful as Omega!!!

See you around. Bye!

Hey Auburn!
No problem sharing what my meds are! I am just about an open book on this forum anyway! LOL
He put me on WellButrin. Seems to be working wonders. Hopefully it won't be a forever thing but your right when you got a family to look after ya gotta do what you gotta do.
Ciao
