I'm kinda ressurecting this thread. Figured I'd do it here rather than to post a new thread. I did deadlifts for the first time ever in my life the other day. My lower back was horrible for 2 days, but its fine now. I'm just assuming it hurt like hell because I had never worked those muscles that hard. I hope I don't have bad form. I'm doing the NROL break in program, and this exercise is list on it, so I have to do it! If I experience pain like I had again, I will consult an instructor at the gym.
